TP Productions is where Ron Thaler’s work as a soundtrack composer for Film & TV, both independent and other, comes to fruition.

Originally from Vancouver Canada and now based in New York, Ron has had a strong and varied career, having worked and performed with recording artists such as Dweezil Zappa, DJ Logic, The Led Zep Project, Al DiMeola, Mike Stern, Hiram Bullock, Rufus Reid, Sophie B. Hawkins, Sarah McLachlan, Taylor Dayne, Taj Mahal, Diana Krall , as well as working on the music for NBC 'Breaking News', CBC “Brave New Waves”, Popeye, McDonalds, and The Cartoon Network.

His talents can be heard on films "La Tropical" (Bill Gates/Dave Turnley Production), "Bright" (featuring Joie Lenz), "3 Vignettes" (featuring Danny Aiello and Angie Harmon), 'Sex Chronicles' (featuring Patricia Velasquez from Mummy 2), "Contact", and “All Summer Long”.

His recent soundtrack for Starstruck Films "Tilt" (for X-files staff producer Patrick Stark) starring Tom Braidwood has garnered him a Leo nomination for best music in a film (BCFIA).

Ron is currently scoring "The Diary" (Starstruck Films), a collaborative feature film with the participation of some of the world's most renown directors and actors, all working together to bring to light the story of one man's personal affliction and how disaffection and .human apathy can be conquered.
