KELLY SAINT PATRICK's ALBUM "IN THE MARGINS" ON THE OFFICIAL BALLOT IN 8 CATEGORIES

PROJECT GRAND SLAM's ALBUM "PLAY"ON THE OFFICIAL BALLOT IN 7 CATEGORIES

Producing and drumming on both Kelly Saint Patrick's June 2008 release "In The Margins" and Project Grand Slam's new release "Play", Ron's work appears in several categories in the 2009 official Grammy ballot ... Kelly Saint Patrick's "In The Margins" has been incluoded for Album of The Year, Record of The Year, Best New Artist, Song of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal (for 3 songs!), Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist, and Producer of The Year.  Project Grand Slam's "Play" has been included for Album of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Pop Collaboration Accompanying Vocalist, Best Pop Instrumental Performance, Best Contemporary Jazz Album, Best Instrumental Composition, and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist ... RON BEGINS WORKING WITH LATVIAN-AMERICAN DANCE STAR NIKA, AND KIWI POP ARTIST ANITA PRIME

Ron has begun work on dance-pop artist NIKA's new album for StbN, slated for release in the Fall 2009. Veronika and Ron will also be making an appearance at MIDEM's international artist showcase this upcoming January 2009 in Cannes France.

Ron has partnered with Kiwi Pop star Anita Prime to produce and drum on her hotly anticipated new single, "Serenade", and follow up single "Hand On Your Heart". Ron is heading to New Zealand several times over the next 6 months to complete tracking and mixing.

RON APPEARS ON NBC's "LIPSTICK JUNGLE" ALONGSIDE BROOKE SHIELDS WITH PROJECT GRAND SLAM

In early January '08, Ron headed into NBC studios for an on-camera role on the new weekly series,"Lipstick Jungle" starring Brooke Shields and Kim Raver, with BMG recording artist Project Grand Slam. Five of the bands songs, co-produced with the legendary Frank Fillipetti, will also be featured during the episode. The band is to have a recurring role on the program, as the husband of Brooke Shields's character on the series is a musician. The band's premiere episode airs on March 6 2008 :)

... JASON YUDOFF's LATEST ALBUM "TRAGIC HERO" ON THE OFFICIAL BALLOT IN 4 CATEGORIES

... AND RON'S WORK ON ALICIA KEYS TOP-10 SINGLE "NO ONE" IS ALSO NOMINATED

Producing and drumming on Jason Yudoff’s newest album "Tragic Hero", Ron's work has garnered 4 apperances on the 2008 official Grammy ballot …for Album of The Year, Record of The Year, Best New Artist, and Producer of The Year.  And Ron's drumming and drum sampling are featured on Alicia Keys top-10 international hit, "No One", the first single of her new album "As I Am", which has been nominated for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance ... Watch the Grammy's on Feb. 18th 2008

    

RON COMPLETES CO-PRODUCTION WITH LEGENDARY MULTI-GRAMMY WINNING ENGINEER/PRODUCER FRANK FILLIPETTI ON ROBERT MILLER'S NEW JAZZ-POP RELEASE "PROJECT GRAND SLAM" AT LEGACY STUDIOS IN NYC

Starting in late June and completing production in mid September, Ron teamed up with legendary engineer/producer Frank Fillipetti along with bassist Robert Miller, pianist Haim Cotton and saxophonist Gilad Ronen to record "Project Grand Slam" at Legacy Studios.
